Is rooftop solar really mandatory for my factory now?
Under Bangladesh's Net Metering Guidelines and the December 2025 Power Division circular, rooftop solar installation is required when applying for a new electricity connection (buildings with ~1,000+ sq ft usable roof) and for industrial/commercial consumers with 10 kW+ load — including load-increase applications. If your facility is expanding, a solar plan is now part of the connection process. We prepare the complete net-metering application alongside your system.
