Proven energy technology, made reachable for every factory
Greenwell Energy Systems is an industrial Energy Service Company and EPC contractor based in Dhaka. We bring modern, efficient energy technology to Bangladesh's manufacturing sector — and deliver it in a financial structure factories can actually accept.
An engineering company built around access
The technology that lowers industrial energy cost is not experimental. Rooftop solar, battery storage, variable frequency drives, heat recovery, efficient lighting and cooling — all of it is proven, bankable and installed at scale across the world.
The barrier in Bangladesh has rarely been whether the technology works. It is whether a factory can free the capital, carry the technical risk, and manage the process alongside running production.
We work exclusively with industry: textiles and RMG, dyeing and washing, food processing and cold chain, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, steel and light engineering, and agro-processing. Every solution we deliver is measured against one question — does it reduce what this factory spends, reliably, for years.
What we set out to do
Make new and efficient energy technology conveniently available to every factory in Bangladesh — technically, commercially and financially — so the benefit is not limited to those who can pay for it upfront.
How we are judged
By generation delivered, energy saved and systems that still perform in year ten. Under our OpEx structure we are paid on output, so underperformance costs us before it costs the client.
Why good technology stays uninstalled
Most factory owners already know solar and efficiency projects pay back. Three things stop them proceeding — and none of them are technical.
Capital competes
An energy project competes with machinery, inventory and expansion for the same limited funds. It is rarely the loudest priority, so it is postponed year after year while the electricity bill compounds.
Risk sits in the wrong place
Under conventional supply, the factory carries the performance risk. If the system underdelivers, the supplier has already been paid. That imbalance makes decision-makers cautious — reasonably so.
The process is a burden
Financing applications, net metering approvals, structural checks, equipment selection, commissioning. Each step is manageable; together they consume management attention that production needs.
What Greenwell does differently
We operate as both an EPC contractor and an Energy Service Company, which lets us adapt the commercial structure to the client rather than the other way round.
Convenient financially
Three procurement routes — full payment, instalments over 36 to 60 months, or a zero-investment OpEx model where the factory pays only for the energy delivered. The engineering is identical across all three; only the cash flow changes.
Convenient technically
Site survey, load profiling, system design, financing support, regulatory approvals, installation, commissioning and long-term maintenance all sit with us. The factory provides access and a decision.
Measured, not estimated
Every proposal starts with a free site survey — connected load, consumption history, roof condition, shading and tariff category. Savings are modelled from your data, not from industry averages.
Accountable long term
A solar plant is a twenty-year asset. We design for that horizon, use Tier-1 equipment, and stay responsible for monitoring and maintenance rather than disappearing after commissioning.
What an ESCO actually is
An Energy Service Company finances, installs, owns and operates energy infrastructure on a client's site, and is paid from the energy it produces or the savings it creates — not from selling equipment.
In practice that means a factory can have a solar plant on its roof without buying one. Greenwell carries the capital cost, the maintenance obligation and the performance risk. The factory buys the output at a fixed discount to its grid tariff, and the arrangement runs for twenty years.
Where a factory prefers to own the asset outright, we deliver the same system as a straight EPC contract — with financing facilitation included, so that concessional funding routes are not left unexplored.

Principles we hold to
A young company earns trust through conduct before it earns it through track record.
Numbers before promises
We do not quote savings we have not modelled from measured data. Where a project does not justify itself on your figures, we say so — a survey that ends in "not yet" is a legitimate outcome.
Tier-1 equipment only
Modules, inverters, drives and protection are specified from established manufacturers with real warranty support in this market. Twenty-year assets are not the place to save on components.
Risk where it belongs
Under OpEx, performance risk stays with us for the full term. That alignment is the point of the model — our revenue depends on the system working, not on the sale closing.
Compliance-aware by default
Export-facing manufacturers face rising expectations on energy, emissions and traceability. We design systems that produce auditable data, so compliance reporting is a by-product rather than a scramble.
Start with a free site survey
No cost, no obligation. We measure your load, assess your roof, and tell you what is worth doing — and which procurement route fits your capital position.
