ACI Agrolink — 1 MWp Rooftop Solar with Battery Storage, Satkhira

A shrimp processing and cold-chain export facility with continuous refrigeration load and low tolerance for supply interruption — the profile where solar combined with storage delivers most value. Financed, built, owned and operated by Greenwell under a 20-year power purchase agreement, with zero capital investment from the client.

Why This Site

What made this facility a strong fit

Not every roof justifies storage. Three characteristics made this one worth engineering around.

❄️

Continuous refrigeration load

Cold-chain processing draws power around the clock, so generated units are consumed on site rather than exported — the condition under which solar economics are strongest.

Low tolerance for interruption

In seafood processing an outage is a product-quality risk, not an inconvenience. Battery storage holds critical circuits through grid interruptions without waiting for generator start-up.

🏭

Export-facing compliance

International buyers increasingly ask suppliers to evidence renewable energy use. On-site solar produces auditable generation data rather than estimates.

Scope of Work

Greenwell's delivery scope

Under the OpEx structure every stage below sits with us. The client provides roof access and a signed PPA.

  • Site survey and load profiling
  • Roof structural and shading assessment
  • System sizing and yield modelling
  • Full project financing
  • Equipment procurement — Tier-1 only
  • Structural and electrical installation
  • Protection, metering and grid interface
  • Net metering and regulatory approvals
  • Commissioning and performance testing
  • Monitoring for the full contract term
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Module cleaning and yield assurance
